July 6: Maruti Suzuki is launching new retail outlets in India under Nexa Brand to offer premium products opening with its future S-Cross model.
Maruti Suzuki which is known for its small cars, is starting a new setup under Nexa brand to sell its quality products starting with upcoming S-Cross model. The company sets a target to sell two million units annually by 2020 with around 25 models and it is expecting that the Nexa network will add a major amount to its sales.
The company is decided to offer different car buying experience to its valuable customers for long time for this, the company is in a plan to open 100 dealerships under Nexa brand in 30 cities by the end of this financial year. These different dealerships have hired 700 people from various sectors including hospitality, aviation and financial services.
The executive Director-marketing and sales R.S Kalsi announced at media that “company has created 1.5 crore in three decades of operations, customers profile is changing day by day, so we need to offer new products, so that they can stay with for long time, even when they look to upgrade with bigger cars with different buying experience”.
Many of customers are third generation ones and they are young achievers, so to offer different buying experience to these customers, company feels to upgrade with new brands and models.
