Moscow, June 11: MIPT researchers recently discover a new sensor technology which can detect HIV markers and Cancer. Here is a glimpse from the research report.

This can be a huge achievement for health science and can also be beneficial for mankind. Researchers from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology or popularly known as MIPT have developed a new technology based on nano-mechanical sensor. It can detect tumors in human body that are cancer affected. Besides this, it can also detect viral disease markers for HIV.

The technology works in an innovative way. It’s an ultra compact sensor with a capacity of analyzing the chemical composition of substances inside human body and perceiving biological objects from it. Here are some of the points which you need to know about.

  • It can detect viral markers when our body immunity system responds towards a deadly disease.
  • Such disease includes HIV, hepatitis, herpes, and many others.
  • It can enable doctors to detect cancer tumor markers.
  • Helps in detecting growth rate of such harmful disease inside human body.
  • Most importantly, this process is able to identify these entire long before they can be detected by any other presently existed system.
  • Can be used in latest wearable devices as smart watch, bands and also in Smartphone.

Researchers from MIPT  said, “We’ve been following the progress made in the development of micro- and nanomechanical biosensors for quite a while now and can say that no one has been able to introduce a simple and scalable technology for parallel monitoring that would be ready to use outside a laboratory.”
