The newborn state Telangana’s Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao gave an oath to fulfill the needs and in the modernization of Monda market in one of the twin cities of the state, Secunderabad.

All over the streets of the Monda market in Secunderabad were decked out at the limit out of break less speed. Even the wandering dogs were caught by the municipal workers and a manhole was opened to let in free flowing manure. All these were done on last Saturday at the place as it is suffering the problem from many years which has the age of about 100-year-old. This is an extravagant decision taken by the new Chief Minister of the state K Chandrasekhar Rao, well known as KCR.

KCR discussed with the several vendors there at the market and asked them about the problems that they are facing after an hour late to the time he announced to be there. He asked about the prices with the traders as he going on in the area that from the starting point of the market near the Islamiah High School to the ending point of the place near the old clock tower.

A vendor, who manages a vegetable stall in that area named G. Ramesh, was one of them who were ecstatic on being asked by KCR about the present issues in the Monda market. He said the reporters, “He asked me the rate of capsicum, which is sold at Rs.70 per kilo now. He asked my neighbour about the prices of other vegetables.” K Chandrasekhar Rao also took an outlook of the old meat shops in the old Monda market grounds. A person who runs the shop there said, “It is the first time I had seen any Chief Minister enter the area.” “He told us that he will provide us air-conditioned rooms after pulling down and rebuilding the entire building,” he said to the reporters.

In all aside with the trip, a large crowd pursued by the CM KCR was escorted by a group of policemen and also did not let the media to get close into him for any type of disturbances they create. Erstwhile traders, moreover, were not that much amazed with the visit. A vendor there, named Sudhakar said, “Our day’s business has gone due to the visit. He could have just come quietly and gone, but no, he has to come in a grand fashion, due to which the police block all roads.”

The people who took the part in the event belongs to that area next to with KCR were the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Mahmood Ali, the State Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, the State Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and some other officials of the state.
