Anurag Kashyap who has been a renowned film maker has faced huge losses with the movie ‘Bombay Velvet’. He has said frankly that the movie was a huge loss and he is carrying the burden of failure. The movie which was made in lavish budget featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles.

The movie failed even at Box-Office. The 43 year old director said, he couldn’t come out of the loss and making another movie pulls him down. He said, “People have gone to fund my dream, which was unreasonable to begin with. I have some dreams to do for 10 years and I should not force that dreams into others.

Buy your own idea. Buy your own dream. Bombay Velvet was like a 90 Crore art film which has costed me a huge loss. The movie even became a huge nightmare for me. I have learnt the lessons in hard way and I will never ever make huge budget movies.

Money is the biggest nightmare. I wanted to minimize the cost of my movies in future. I just did an expensive film which probably is the biggest loss making movie in the history of cinema. No one can understand the nightmare which I am going through.”
