Hyderabad: One of hit movie, Shiva in 1990s is going to hit tollywood film industry again with its re-release on May 15 with some technical additions from the director, Ram Gopal Varma.
Nagarjuna starring Shiva Movie will be re-released on May 15th, 2015. In 2014, Ramgopal Varma’s Telugu film “Shiva” celebrated its Silver Jubilee and the makers of film recalled their memories with this movie. Recently Nagarjuna announced that they will re-release old film Shiva with some technical additions. Annapurna studio is now ready to re-release the movie on 15th May in more number of theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Shiva is a Rama Gopal varma’s first film as a director starring Akkeneni Nagarjuna, Amala, Raghuvaran, J.D Chakravarthi, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Tanikella Bharani, Paresh Rawal and others. The movie was written by Tanikella Bharani and music was composed by llayaraja. It is a trend setting movie which changed Akkineni Nagarjuna’s entire life and fortunes.
Recently film makers celebrated 25 years for this movie. Actually this film was supposed to re-release last year, but due to some delay in restoration process it was postponed. Now it is ready to re-release under Annapurna studios banner with quality of sound track, technical and visual effects. Recently film makers released the poster of old film as ‘Shiva is Back’.
