Ever thought about dark side of the moon? The scientific visualisation studio of NASA made a video on moon’s dark side that shows the stunning clarity minus ‘Maria’.

We all know how the moon looks like from the earth. But what would it be from the other side? The US space agency has just released an amazing video yesterday edifying the far or the other side of the Moon which can’t be visible from the Earth. With the help of the information stored in the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, well known as LRO, the scientific visualization studio of NASA made a video of the far side which shows that there are many more and bigger craters than on the side which we can see that faces the Earth.

They found a dark spot on the other side of the moon. Imagine what will be there if the moon does not have the very large dark spot which is named as ‘Maria’. Even though they mentioned that the ‘dark’ is a misnomer, the side that which the humans cannot see the moon is enlightened by the biggest star in the universe, Sun as which is done same to the Earth.  LRO, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is still in the way of mapping the moon since the year of 2009.

NASA collide the hundreds of terabytes of the data together as they got from the satellite clicks to attain the animated picture of the holded one. In the year of 1959, the Soviet Luna 3 survey sent back the very first grainy pictures of the moon’s dark side. Those are the images that which exactly the moon looks like in this newly released video. Ever since the research center is trying to know that what is hidden in the universe, one more new thing is coming out as it is vast.
