Odisha: A 13 year old girl named Ananya bagged Indian Idol Junior title for second season and got 25 lakhs price money from Sony Entertainment and other sponsers.

Odia girl Ananya Sritam Nanda finally won the title of Indian Idol Junior Second Season on Sunday. She has received a cash prize of 25 lakhs from Sony entertainment and there are television, a host of other prizes from sponsors of the show.

The 13 year old girl won the final title with huge audience votes received across India. She has crossed the Nithyashree Venkataramanam from Chennai and Nahid Arfin from Tezpur, Assam in the grand final and finally she made it.

Ananya share her excitements and said that, “I had never thought that I would enter the top three in the show. It’s really a dream come true”. Her parents were also so much surprised and excited about this. The perfect presentation of notes and mesmerizing voice helped Ananya to get victory in the series.

Ananya is studying 10th class in Pokhariput and she has a lot of passion and interest in music from childhood. She started learning music at the age of four and won several awards, she has been learning classical music from Guru Chitta Ranjan Pani for the last eight years and semi classical and light music from Santosh Kar.

She won Rs 18 lakh, gift hampers worth Rs 3 lakh and Yamaha bike in the final. Her father spoke to media that, “She bagged this award due to god’s grace, prayers and blessings of well-wishers”.
