Chennai:’Ilayaraja 1000? Function will Organize in Chennai, this event place day after tomorrow.

Maestro Illayaraja is an iconic music composer, lyricist, playback singer, musician and philanthropist who works predominantly for South Indian film industry. He became the first music composer to score music for more than 1000 movies.

Despite new composers like Santosh Narayan, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja he carved a niche for himself. The composer never had any celebration for completing 1000 movies. But a private channel came forward to conduct a grand event at YMCA ground.

This event ‘Ilayaraja 1000’ will take place day after tomorrow. In this case already there is a war between TV channels and Producers council. TV channels never bag most of the movies, and most of the movies are suffering as satellite rights goes unsold. A tug off war happens in this issue.

So in order to show the muscle, Producers council ordered all actors and actress to give interviews to TV channels. This shocked Vijay TV. But as this event is for the legendary composer, Producers council has given permission for all actors to attend the event.
