Mumbai: Puri Jagannath next Bollywood film may be with Sanjay Dutt and closed sources revealed this news.

Puri Jagannath is all set to direct his second Bollywood film with Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. Sanjay Dutt was recently released from jail and has announced that he would continue his life as an actor.

Earlier Puri has directed one of the Hindi movie “Bbuddah Hoga terra baap” starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini in the lead roles, which did not well at the box office.

The ongoing project Rogue is almost finished and immediately after the little work related to Rogue is completed Sanjay Dutt will join Puri as the director already narrated the story and got a nod for doing it.

Puri Jagannath is a well-known film director, screenwriter, and producer, who works primarily in the Tollywood movies. He is a three-time Nandi Award winner. In 2006, he directed Pokiri which was premiered at the 7th IIFA Film Festival held in Dubai.

Sanjay Dutt has worked for more than 100 Hindi films and enjoyed a great success which placed him in the top heroes list. His fans call him as “Deadly Dutt” as his roles had impressed the audience a lot.

Dutt was awarded by the Film Fare awards twice in his career. This is almost a new beginning for him after he got released from jail. He got arrested under TADA act and got sentenced for a period of five years which got completed last month. His last role was as a supporting character in the Bollywood film PK- Amir Khan played the lead role, which he completed before being sentenced to imprisonment in 2013.

It is heard that Sanjay was offered few films and some scripts were made ready by the directors when he was in Jail.

This is the first time that Sanjay Dutt is acting under the direction of Puri Jagannath.
