Over 80 people were killed and scores more injured in a horrific attack in the French Riviera resort of Nice after a truck ploughed into a crowd of people leaving a Bastille Day firework display.

According to the reports, Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma wrote on Twitter: “Attack on Nice is not nice.it’s horrific that terror can strike anywhere. I wish to pray to God for it to stop but I don’t know to which God? Terrifying realisation #Niceattack is terrorists don’t need bombs anymore for mass murder ..they just need what everyone has like vehicles. Leaders condemning #Niceattack is like a repetitive bad joke. Are they dumb to think that a man who runs down crowds will listen to sense? #Niceattack proves that nowhere in the world can anyone be safe except maybe in Mecca Masjid.” he blasted in yet another tweet, pointing how the world became unsafe.

Ramu also went on to take a dig at the gods of various religions giving his suggestions to them on how to seek out this terror issue with each other. Well, all one could say to such views is ‘To each his own’. Hoping peace prevails in France and elsewhere in the world
