Veteran director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who delivered a decent epic film like Bajirao Mastani this year is all set to ready for his next movie. Touted to be a female-centric drama, he has been roped Deepika Padukone for his upcoming film titled as Padmavati. After announcing the title, filmy buffs are eagerly waiting for the cast and crew and who will play the role of Padmavati husband in the film. But still, we didn’t get any clarity about that.

According to the latest reports, Sanjay Leela’s Padmavati was already going to sets latest week and started its first schedule, but still it hasn’t. The shooting stopped due to Ranveer Singh as per the recent update. Ranveer Singh who portrays the role of AlauddinKhiji put a condition to the director regarding Shahid Kapoor’s role. Ranveer wants Shahid in a guest role, and he will begin shooting if the director accepted his condition.

However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was not happy with this, and he cannot accept his condition mainly for two reasons. The director has already taken the same number of days from both the stars. Shahid role is also powerful, and he is not doing a cameo, it is a parallel role. If the director asks Shahid to play a cameo role, definitely he will leave the project. Shahid accepted the role only because it is on par with Ranveer’s character. He can’t play the second swindle to anybody at this stage.

Ranveer Singh’s behavior keeps the director in a dilemma, and closed sources belong to the director said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali would never work with Ranveer after Padmavati. Sanjay gave two extraordinary films to the actor like Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastani, but the director has irked with the behavior of the actor.

Coming to the Ranveer, his career graph is good, and it is an appreciable thing of Ranveer Singh for playing a villain role at this stage. He accepted the role because of his love interest Deepika Padukone only and for that reason only he is playing antagonist role in this film. The director had an only way to talk with Deepika regarding this and asked her to talk with Ranveer and convince him to start the film. If Ranveer is not accepted this, the film will not move.
