Patna: Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh in a meeting on Tuesday said that the government is going sanction Rs. 5,000 pension for farmers whose age is 60 and above.

 

On Tuesday, Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh said that the pension will be given to farmers for their social and financial security and not for any other benefits of government. He said, “The Narendra Modi-led government has decided to give a monthly pension of Rs. 5,000 to farmers of 60 years of age and above”.

In a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally, Union HM told these words to people of their community and he also exclaimed that this is first government who is to care farmers and help them in their needy time.

He added, “At the age of 60, the capability of people — particularly of farmers — to do hard work reduces. Therefore, the government has decided to provide them a pension.” The Modi government is likely to take some additional and beneficial projects to make farmers comfortable in the field of agriculture.

Rajnath Singh in the rally promised that the govt will give complete support to farmers in each and every tough situations.
