Karnataka: Upcoming Tollywood big budget movies Vijay starrer Puli and Anushka’s Rudhramadevi are to be officially dubbed in Kannada. KFI green signal for other language films after removing dubbing ban.

Recently Kannada film industry fights against the dubbing of other language films and television serials into Kannada. After a series of strikes and discussions, dubbing of other languages in to kannada made official in KFI. According to the sources, the big budget movies of this year Tamil starrer Vijay’s Puli and Tollywood actress Anushka Shetty’s leading role movie Rudramadevi are officially dubbed in to Kannada and these two are the first movies to be dubbed in Kannada.

As per sources, the dubbing work of both movies Puli and Rudramadevi has already started in Hyderabad and will be soon hitting at theatres of Karnataka in Kannada language.

Tamil starrer Vijay ‘s Puli is a fantasy based adventure film, is directed by Chimbudevan, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani are the female leads for this movie. Veteran star Sridevi is also playing a key role in this, Kannada start Kicha Sudeep is also a part of the project.

On the other hand, Anushka Shttey’ s Rudramadevi, which is directed by Gunasekar is a 3D historical film movie starring Rana Daggubati and Allu Arjun in pivot roles. As per sources the movie will hit at big screen for this 4th September, 2015.
