Chennai: After a series of trouble regarding Nadigar Sangam building issue, Sarathkumar finally open his mouth and called a press meet to clear everything.

Sarathkumar who has been facing lots of controversies in recent times, finally opened up regarding all the false allegations he has been facing through. He called for an official press meet and made a clear statement that the Nadigar Sangam building is safe in his hands.

He also said, the bond was made under lease agreement and Sangam will get back building any time soon. He also showed the bond signed between the two parties. He made confession that it was signed before every member.

Sarathkumar further added, “Nadigar Sangam land is still safe in our hands and we never sold it just as opposite party blames us. We demolished the building after getting permission from Chennai Corporation and every member from the Sangam. We signed a new bond with SPI cinemas under lease agreement. On December 29, 2010 this decision was taken unanimously.

SPI cinemas have paid Nadigar sangam a sum of Rs. 1 Crore and 48 Lakhs. To build a new building it was said that it would cost around 15 Crores. After having lots of discussions with various auditors and financial consultants we took this decision. We also had a meeting with members and everyone suggested this as the right decision. I still have the bond and you can see it.”
