Shabana Azmi blames Kareena Kapoor for doing item song which has no lyrical sense and thinks such songs are not useful to the society.

The senior actress is known for her straightforwardness in commenting on any social awareness issues that she thinks right. Shabana Azmi blared Kareena for doing item numbers that are being a part of the films now. Azmi has expressed her dissatisfaction with the lyrics that has no sense and are sung as songs.

Especially, the item songs which are widely spread at a  faster rate among the audiences. The songs had no ethics and a bit of insulting the women society as per Azmi. These comments were supported by her example, the song in the film Dabaang 2 which contained wordings that humiliate the character of the women. She added that the song may be written for an individual but crores of the people will be watching it and what message are we as celebrities conveying to them.

The occasion which witnessed Shabana Azmi making such serious comments was at the launch of Women of Worth campaign.

Earlier Shabana being a social worker has conveyed many messages through different mediums but now it seems that she has targeted only Kareena leaving other heroines like Priyanka, Deepika, Katrina Kaif and many more are in the list of item songs.

Items songs create the craze among music lovers due to the beat, maximum exposure of the lustful beauty of the heroines can be seen more in them.

She also remarked that small children are singing those songs and performing dances which indicate a painful fact. The age at which they are in does not even know the meaning of the song but still they seem to be enjoying them.Keeping this in view we can justify the issue of Shabana Azmi blares Kareena Kapoor as genuine.
