After the announcement of the Padmavati Biopic, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali faced few problems with lead cast. Toute to be a woman-centric war drama, the Bajirao Mastani director has roped beautiful actress Deepika Padukone for playing a titular role for Padmavati Film.

After announcing the title, movie lovers are enthusiastically looking for Padmavati Movie cast. Finally, two young actors Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh names were on the list. Shahid Kapoor is doing a role of Raja Ratan Singh, Rajput kingdom ruler and husband of Queen Rani Padmavati.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will see as Alauddin Khilji, Delhi sultan who falls in love with Rani Padmavati. During the 18th Jio MAMI film festival, Shahid Kapoor shared few things about Padmavati movie. He said Padmavati film is a great project and director Sanjay is handling it very well.
It is a great opportunity for all the three actors to showcase their talent. He also said calling Padmavati Movie a two hero film is a little bit perky.
The 35-year old actor disappointed over calling Padmavati movie a two hero based drama. He said, “I felt silly when people are calling it as a two hero film. Padmavati movie story revolves around three major characters. The film has three principle characters.
It is a great opportunity for all three of us to showcase tremendous acting skills. Deepika Padukone is lucky for getting a superb role as Rani Padmavati, and Ranveer Singh and I had assigned significant roles. I am very happy and feel exciting about Padmavati movie cast.”
