Recalling memories from Maruthanayagam movie launch event, Kamal Haasan revealed an innocent incident of Shruti Haasan where she called Queen Elizabeth as Aunt.

Shruti Haasan is one of the most wanted actresses in Kollywood, Tollywood and Bollywood. She is happy as her last release ‘Welcome Back’ in Bollywood is doing well at the Box-Office. Now her father Kamal Haasan has spilled beans on her recalling one of the incidents from 1997.

During a recent interview, Kamal Haasan shared from his Olden memories from ‘Maruthanayagam’ movie launch which brought Queen Elizabeth to the function.

Kamal said Queen Elizabeth spent 20 minutes at the MGR Film City in Madras. And she launched Kamal Ha?asan’s magnum opus ‘Maruthanayagam’ which was touted to be made in humongous budget of Rs.200 Crores during 1997 itself.

Later after narrating those Kamal revealed an interesting incident which happened during that event. Kamal said Shruti who was a kid then, said to Kamal that she liked that Aunty (Queen Elizabeth) a lot. Kamal Haasan was confused as who was that aunty and alter he came to know that she was calling the Queen herself as Aunt.

Kamal later showered praises on Queen Elizabeth and said that she had the ability to make a kid like Shruti Haasan to feel that way. That itself was an achievement and he said she came to India just like an ordinary person without much show off. The actor said he is ready any time to revive the project.
