Hyderabad: Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie Premam has been titled as Majnu, the film features Naga Chaitanya and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles.

Malayalam recent blockbuster Premam is a coming-of-age romantic comedy drama film written and directed by Alphonse Putharen. The movie is going to be remake in Telugu, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is going to play the lead role of this flick.

Naga Chaitanya who started his career with an action flick Josh is now fully concentrated on love story based movies. His previous movie all are like love stories including ‘Ye Maaya Chesaave’, ‘100% Love’ and ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and the actor again back with a love story titled as Majnu.

The Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit film Premam has been registered as Majnu and the movie team is planning start shooting this year or early next year. The film is being directed by Chandoo Mondeti and it will also features Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameswaran as the two leading ladies, the makers of movie are looking for third actress.

As per sources, it seems like beautiful actress Shruti Haasan is most likely to play the third leading actress role in this, talks are going on but nothing has been confirmed yet. The film will be produced by S.Radha Krishna.

Premam is one of the biggest Malayalam hit movie, which speaks about the a young man in three stages of life where he meets three different women. This film still running successfully in theaters three months post release.
