New Delhi: Technology giant Sony on Monday launched two high-power portable home audio systems — GT4D and V44D — with Bluetooth and Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity to enhance ease-of-use for an array of devices.

Consumers also get options for AUX input, DVD and USB inputs with these DJ-cum karaoke-speakers.

The devices also have built-­in FM capabilities. They can be controlled remotely through Sony’s in-house SongPal app — making them useful for parties where speakers are rarely within reach.

GT4D is priced at Rs 50,990 and V44D is available for Rs 29,990 at all Sony Centres and major electronic stores across India, the company said in a statement.

GT4D comes in with 1600W power whereas the V44D delivers 660W. They come with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) feature that upscales any compressed music content to deliver studio quality audio experience.

It has an “intelligent sense” feature with pre-defined gestures that allows the users to set gestures of their own.

V44D is equipped with the motion control which can drive a smartphone’s motion with a simple left and right shake to change tracks; play and pause favourite tracks and manage the volume control.

Both audio systems comprise of SongPal DJ function enabling customers to add effects to music like voice, music, and lighting.
