Chennai: Milky beauty Tamannaah, the Kollywood and Tollywood actress shared her views on survival of actors in the present generation of film industry.

Kollywood is on a time where every Friday new actress blossoms. Most of the veteran actresses are feeling hard to cement their spot. At the same time few actresses get married and they themselves refrain from movies. On other hand, senior actresses are pushed to act in roles of aunt and elder sister.

Lots of new faces come like weasels and even due to Wages problem, Call sheet date troubles, Producers also prefer new faces and young actresses. Directors also choose young actresses as their faces are refreshing for the audience. Very few actresses like Nayanthara and Trisha alone survive in industry for more than eleven years.

But even they are acting in Horror movies and some with debut directors to cement their spot. Regarding this new threat, Tamannaah gives some tips to actresses to survive in this industry. She also confessed that the life span is little and one has to settle with lots of talent in this industry. She said,

“In cinema industry, an actress life span is very little. This is a common trait these adys. During olden days, we had very few actresses and there were very less competition. So most actress survived for longer period. But these days we have lots of competition and every now and then new actresses make their debut. So it is not easy to survive in this field. To survive, actresses should increase their talents and learn to adapt. They should not wait for lead actors movies. I explored myself in’Baahubali’ like that. But those movie happen very rarely. I am waiting for such good scripts. At the same time I also sign commercial movies.”
