Kadapa, 4 May: Telugudesam Party Anil Kumar here wins DCCB and elected as the chairman of Kadapa District Co-operative Central Bank on Sunday. Here is the detail report on Kadapa DCCB poll.
TDP Anil Kumar was unanimously elected as the chairman of Kadapa District Co-operative Central Bank on Sunday. TDP wrested this position from YSR congress with G.Anil Kumar Reddy, who is a son of TDP former MLA G. Veerasiva Reddy and DCCB director.
With orders of the Andhra Pradesh High Court DCCB chairman’s elections was held on Sunday, which is postponed earlier because of lack of quorum. On Sunday 4 co-opted members filled the nominations at 8 am for the vacant positions.Anil Kumar Reddy filled the nomination for chairman position and elected unanimously. DCCB officer Pome Naik announced the results and handed over the declaration to Reddy.
Earlier TDP has only six directors out of 17 but three directors of YSRCP party have supported the TDP. Then TDP has strength has 12 and YSRCP has 8, because of low strength YSRCP boycotted the elections. The DCCB officer elected the TDP Anil Kumar as unanimously.
And other three members from TDP, were elected as DCCB directors, those are Raja Naik (ST) from Chintakommadinnemandal, Baludu (BC) from Proddatur and Chalamayya Naidu (OC) from Chitvel. For fourth position the election was did not take place as traditionally, it would go through with mandal family members of YSRCP party. Finally TDP won the elections at their home town.
