The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has wiped off all the parties in Municipal elections that are held. GHMC poll results were repeated in every part of Telangana State. After the formation of the new state, this is the first times the local bodies went to the polls. The ruling party has enormously won the seats to host the party flag in all the major municipalities.

Achampet Muncipality has witnessed a complete sweep of the opponents. A clear cut no-deposit situation raised for all the TRS opponent party candidates. All the 20 Wards went to TRS.

Khammam after forming into municipality, this is the first election held in that district. Nearly 68 percent voters have utilized their right to vote and elect their local body leaders. Total 50 Wards are present in Khammam Municipality. TRS claimed 34, Congress Party Won 10, Left Parties won 4 wards and YSR Congress Party won the remaining 2 seats.

Warangal Municipality has witnessed nearly 58.6 percent voting. The voters also chose TRS as their trusted party for development as the ruling party is leading in 44 Divisions out of Total 58 Divisions, the Congress Party could present its stand only in 3 Divisions followed by Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) winning 1 division. Other divisions counting is still in process. Hence, only the lead could be established as of now.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Telangana Wing has suffered a lot as it could not win at least 1 ward or division in any of the municipalities. The humiliation for the party continued as the members are leaving the party and the election results are against the party. TDP Assembly members also remained to be finger counting members as almost the entire party members joined the TRS.
