Hyderabad, July 8: TruJet or Turbo Megha Airways got permission from aviation regulator and starts its work from July 12 by making Rajiv Gandhi International Airport as the starting point.
Turbo Megha Airways Pvt. Ltd or formally known as TruJet is set for its operations to start from July 12 from the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. Tollywood actor, Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan is involved in the promotion of this airline to host from Hyderabad.
“Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) permitted to start the airlines operations from 12th of this month”, said Vankayalapati Umesh, managing director of Turbo Megha Airways. The permission has been received by the airlines management team yesterday, Tuesday. The airline has come-up by offering low fares to the passengers.
It is said that offering flight services at the beginning stage of Turbo Megha Airways would connect Tirupati and Rajahmundry from Hyderabad. Later the services will be extended it seems. The airways will be of two 70-seater ATR planes consisting of total of five planes by January 2016. This is the associate company of airline and is currently providing ground-handling services to domestic airlines based out of Hyderabad.
Umesh said, “Initially, we will be connecting Tirupati and Rajahmundry from Hyderabad. Starting 27 July, we will be ramping up operations to connect more south Indian cities”. The Regional airline has been set up as per the requirement based on the notice from the ministry of civil aviation. Their motive is to bring air services even to smaller cities of the State.
It is expected that the service of airline will be extended to each and every small city in the State so that passengers will be conveniently travelling.
