For the past few days the news is filled with Vijay Mallya absconding from the country and here is the latest tweets posted by him.
Vijay Mallya once known as the Liquor King is now facing a difficult time. There was a news in recent times that he has fled from the country due to the cases that are registered against him in regarding the loan repayment which was taken for running the Aircraft group Kingfisher Airlines. The Aviation industry did not prosper him but, in turn, made him debt holder in the process of running it.
Vijay Mallya has tweeted that his disappearance as just a routine business trip and not absconding. He also further reacted to the news channels and papers statements by saying that he has done many favors to the media heads and they should not forget them. Just to increase the TRP ratings one should not publish such things he mentioned in his tweet.
He also questioned the criteria for granting the loans by banks in case if he does not possess any assets as per the ongoing discussions regarding him.
The United Beverages UB is a large seller of liquor brand in India. The United Spirits Limited product has made Mallya as one of the Top businessman and not only that one of the Richest man in India.
Vijay Mallya is also a present Member of Rajya Sabha. While submitting his affidavit to the Rajya Sabha he has shown as zero debt in his name. But owns a list of properties.
Nearly 1 billion Indian Rupees bank debt is to be repaid by Mallya. It is known that he flew to the UK just because he is not able to face the pressures here from the banks and Government. The Opposition made Vijay Mallya absconding as an issue and the Parliament is in serious discussion with his matter.
Vijay Mallya is the son of Vittal Mallya. He has three children – Two daughters and One son.
