Disability Rights Group (DRG) which is lead by disability rights activist Javed Abidi has condemned ‘Wazir’ director Bejoy Nambiar for making some harsh remarks on Amitabh Bachchan on a wheel chair. And with respect to that the whole team apologized for hurting sentiments.

But they still demanded an apology from Bejoy Nambiar where he spoke about Big B’s portrayal as a paralyzed chess Grandmaster. Regarding this, Bejoy said, “We all know right from the start that the protagonist has to be on the Wheel chair.

Amitabh Bachchan who has got such a strong personality has been limited to a wheel chair and that itself a big task for us.” But DRG said, “Nambiar’s comments are completely disparaging and extremely condescending towards people with disabilities.

Such things have to be condemned. He completely lacks knowledge and he has made the mockery of persons with disability.” But producer of the movie, Mr.Chopra said, “We apologize if we have hurt somebody’s sentiments. We never meant to hurt anyone in person actually.”
