The 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift has been spied in Brazil while testing on the roads. This will be unveiled at the 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show in November.

The facelifted EcoSport model will be unveiled at the event of 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show held in November of this year. This vehicle is expected with a new 1.5-litre petrol engine from the Dragon engine family of the Ford company. The American multinational automaker has not made many changes to the existing model external body design and the looks as per the available details till now. There are few internal advancements for the vehicle anyways. 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift have, however, brought out some assumptions regarding the vehicle.

The vehicle may feature with a new Ford SYNC 2 infotainment system with a colour screen display. Also, a new instrument panel and new HVAC controls are expected. Coming to the external looks of the vehicle, Ford EcoSport facelift have a few things to predict. The rear end remains unchanged. the front portion has some minor changes to be observed. The headlamps, fog lamps and the grille will be something different from the existing one. The front resembles the borrowed design of the models Ford Edge and Ford Everest or Ford Endeavour (In India) in the front designing part.

The South American version will come with a spare wheel which is mounted externally. The European and the Chinese versions won’t feature the same. Coming to the engine part, it is said that a 1.5-litre dragon engine which produces 130 hp has been fixed for the petrol vehicle.  Whereas the current engine capacity is 1.0 litre EcoBoost.  1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine vehicle is also expected along with the 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol engine vehicle.
