Badminton champion cum Coach Pullela Gopichand Biopic is getting ready. Biopics are quite common in recent days and the latest biopic of Indian Captain MS Dhoni released a few days back and is running successfully with a record number of collections. Now another popular sportsperson biopic is on the way. Indian-American filmmaker cum National Award winning director Praveen Sattaru is going to make a film on the life story of former Indian badminton champion Pullela Gopichand.

According to the latest reports we heard that the film will be made in three languages Telugu, Hindi and English.  The whole cast and technicians list will be revealed soon. Closed sources said that “Gopichand Biopic is planning with the noted star cast. The film will be making in three languages Telugu, English, and Hindi. The pre-production works have already started and the project will go on floors next year”.

Tollywood actor and Brother in law of Mahesh Babu Sudheer Babu will be portraying the role of former Badminton champion Pullela Gopichand. Do you know that Sudheer Babu is a student of Gopichand? Yes, Sudheer Babu is a Badminton player and trained under Gopichand for few years. He knows many techniques and he is ready to play a role of his Badminton guru on screen. The team is busy in finalizing shooting spots across China, Japan, Ireland and Scotland.

Praveen Sattaru is currently busy in the upcoming Telugu film starring Rajasekhar in lead role. One he completes this film he will kick start biopic of Gopichand. As we know, Gopichand made many champions under his training. He guided Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu in Badminton and they are world famous now. Sudheer Babu is a good actor and he made his Bollywood entry with Baaghi. He played an antagonist role in Baaghi and it turned out to be a huge hit in Hindi. Sudheer Babu has already started workouts for Badminton practice. He gained the attention of Bollywood people with his terrific action in Baaghi. The film is not yet titled and undoubtedly it would be another great film.
