Mumbai: Director AR Murugadoss who was supposed to finish shooting of Akira movie by August 2015 may stops shooting temporarily. Sonakshi Sinha is playing the lead role.

Versatile director AR Murugadoss was last seen with the movie ‘Kaththi’. Later he came to Bollywood to direct the movie ‘Akira’. He also got the rights of ‘Mouna Guru’ from Tamil movie. He made changes to script and turned it to be a female centric flick.

Shooting started from March and the movie was expected to be wrapped up within August. But it has been November and still the shooting is not completed.

According to sources, during the shooting Director AR Murugadoss and Sonakshi Sinha were not in good terms.

However the cold war lead to stoppage and the team consoled both of them and the shooting happened again. But yet again the shooting has been stopped mid way.  Konkona Sen Sharma, Mithun Chakraborty, Amit Sadh and Satrugan Sinha are part of the cast.

Technical team features Vishal Shekhar scores Music and RD Rajasekar for cinematography. Sreekar Prasad is the editor. As the shooting is stopped again, Raai Laxmi has moved to her next movie ‘Julie 2’. The shooting is getting delayed again and again.
