In the 100th movie of BalaKrishna, he is going to play the historic role of Satakarni. It was during the first half of the 2nd century A.D. that the Satavahana power once again rose into eminence in the South. The man of destiny, this time, was a king named Gautamiputra Satakarni. By his achievements as a conqueror and as an able administrator he raised the prestige of the Satavahana Dynasty to new heights and came to be regarded as its greatest monarch.

Earlier, we know that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, actor-turned-politician and former Union Minister Chiranjeevi, top Telugu hero Venkatesh and a host of prominent personalities from the world of film and politics attended the ‘Muhurtham’ event of the film

As per source, actually in “The 300” Hollywood movie, it’s full of war scenes as the hero, King Lenoidas of Sparta always indulges in warfare. His final war at The Hot Gates became the content for the 2-hour film. Coming to Satakarni film, we hear that this King will be indulging in wars throughout his life and director Krish is showing that quite effectively.

In upcoming the third schedule of Satakarni, we will see Balayya fighting alongside 200 stuntmen on a specially erected centuries old style ship, which will have huge VFX scenes bringing it into waters.
