Mohanlal recent flick Oppam has turned out to be a blockbuster in Malayalam and the actor is gearing up for another flick titled as Pulimurugan. This is a much-awaited film of the year and getting ready to release on October 7 worldwide. Pulimurugan is an action thriller directed by Vykash which deals with the relationship between a man and animal.

The movie will be releasing worldwide in a record number of screens. This would be the biggest release ever in the career of Superstar Mohanlal. The film is expected to break all the preexisting records of Malayalam movies. Expectations on the film reached to sky high after releasing the official trailer. Mohanlal will be seen in a role of hunter. He is an expert in hunting wild animals without fear.

The audio launch event has been taken place at Kochi recently. The actor himself said that it is a challenging role that has ever done in his career. Mohanlal got a huge round of applause for the fight scenes highlighted in the trailer. The popular and well-known stunt master Peter Hein has composed terrific action sequences for the film and that would be undoubtedly eye feast for fans.

The film features Kamalinee Mukherjee in the female lead role. Tollywood veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, Kishore, KPAC Lalitha, MR Gopakumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Makrand Deshpande, Bala, Namitha will be seen in important roles.

Touted to be a visual wonder, Pulimurugan has already gained huge craze. The film is going to be released in record number of screens and especially in Kerala. The makers have planned 100 more pre-screenings for fans. The film has made with a huge budget of Rs. 28 Crores. The official trailer of Pulimurugan crossed 10 Lakhs views within 24 hours of its release. The film completed censor formalities and obtained clean “U” certificate by the board. The advanced bookings had opened already and bookings are running fastly.
