India: Railway ticket cancellation charges has been doubled and it will be effected from 12th November 2015 onwards, passengers will have pay high amount for cancelling the reservation.

Travellers should take care in case of reservation of railways ticket cancellation because Indian railway is going to double the cancellation fee. Previously, if anyone cancel the already registered ticket, the cancelation charge is normal. Now this time Indian railway has increased that amount double.

This decision will be effected from 12^th Nov 2015. Due to this reason all passengers will have pay high amount after cancelling the reservation. In addition, if a person will be missed train, the cancelation of the ticket charges not refundable.

However, an opportunity has given that all persons will make reservation from normal tickets reservation counter also. According to these new rules anyone will not get amount after cancelling their ticket.

For restricting the middleman, provide all specialities to real passengers, the decision has taken, officials said. If a person cancels reservation ticket before 48 to 12 hours 25 per cent of fee will be paid.

If anyone who made reservation will cancel it before 12 to 3 hours 50% fee will be paid and if cancelation will be done after went the train, fee will not be given back even single rupee also.
