Mumbai, June 15: Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan to star in 2nd season of True Detective, a popular BAFTA award winning American TV show starring Matthew McConaughey in lead.
“We get the world we deserve”, yes you remember the correct TV show. Entitled “True Detective”, this popular American television show is soon going to start shooting for its 2nd season. What in limelight here is the presence of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan in the cast list.
If sources are true, Irrfan is going to be a part of one more international project after his stunning performance in Jurassic World. Unlike previous Hollywood projects, this is one of the most popular TV shows in America, which won many awards including the popular BAFTA. According to sources, production team is considering his name for the 2nd season.
True Detective features Matthew McConaughey in a lead role and this ongoing season casts sh actor Colin Farrell and American actor Vince Vaughn. Reason behind considering Irrfan is his recent performance in various projects which makes him favorite for many American filmmakers.

A close source to Irrfan Khan says, “In his latest Hollywood release, Jurassic World, Irrfan has had the longest screen time that any Indian actor has ever got in a Hollywood film.” Besides this, the actor himself stated that, “I have just finished watching the first season of the show, and I’ve become a fan of it. I would love to be part of it.”
