Chennai: Veteran actress Manorama has signed the upcoming Tamil cinema of Suriya, Singam 3 after recovering from bad health.

Suriya is having a bad time with lots of failures. His last release ‘Massu’ was a colossal flop. The movie directed by Venkat Prabhu is one of the biggest disappointments in 2015. The actor is right now acting in ’24’ under Vikram Kumar direction and Samantha pairs opposite him.

But he is keen to bounce back with a commercial success and so he has opted for his lucky franchise. He has chosen the ‘Singam’ franchise for which both ‘Singam’ and ‘Singam 2’ were huge blockbusters. It has to be noted that ‘Singam 2’ ended on an open note just like Suriya throwing the bad guys behind bars.

‘Singam 3’ will start from November now. Shruti Haasan is the only recent addition to film makers team. Anushka will do the female lead role and music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Now the team has one more addition, Veteran actress Manorama has signed dotted line and she revealed this on her recent interview.

Regarding this Manorama says,”I was sick for a long time and I am unable to act in lots of movies these days. Lots of directors are inviting me to act in their movies. But my health condition is not co-operating. I am hale and healthy now and I have signed two new projects, ‘Singam 3’  and ‘Peraandi’. I was called to act in Malayalam , but I missed the chance due to health issues. Here after I will continue to act. In ‘Singam 3’ I will be doing role of Anushka’s grand mother”
