The Maruti Vitara Brezza SUV 5563 units were sold in April and 7832 units in May. The sales increase clearly indicates the demand for the vehicle.

Already the company has planned to increase the production of its hot selling models Brezza and Baleno. The production may be increased to 1,20,000 units in order to decrease the waiting period after booking. Initially, 80,000 SUVs were produced in the Gurgaon based production plant. The increase of production is officially confirmed by the R S Kalsi, the executive director of Maruti Suzuki India sales and marketing.
