Mumbai: Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi recently expressed his views on Aamir Khan’s intolerance comment. He said, he respects Aamir as an actor but India is the most tolerant country.

Aamir Khan’s intolerance topic has grabbed all the attention from media and social networks. Lots of news channels are having debate shows with respect towards Aamir Khan. Now Actor Vivek Oberoi has voiced his views with respect to Aamir’s comments.

He said he respects Aamir as an actor but still he feels India is the most tolerant country. Aamir Khan on 23rd November while speaking at Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism in Delhi said Intolerance is rising in India and his wife often asks him to leave the country due to the atmosphere around them.

Ruling BJP Government criticized Aamir Khan and Congress supported his speech. Now Vivek said, “I always respect Aamir Khan as an actor. But my personal belief is that India is the most tolerant country in the world and has been for thousands of years.

Even now whole world is fighting with respect religion, holy crusades and so on. But in India we learned to live with each other. How to create monuments, how to create cultural artifacts, paint, write poetries, celebrate each other/ I have respect and immense pride for that. I will live and die in India.”
